Song Description
In the present world where the masses are now taught to seek attention and praise from others, emotions and imaginations can run wild, even affecting the mindset and hearts of Believers in Christ Jesus whereas we might believe that no one is there for us. Not realizing that life itself presents so many difficulties in each person’s life that they don’t have time for close friends like they used to, that over time can cause little to no communication amongst friends if it is not monitored. That lack of communication is sometimes used by satan and can trigger thoughts of loneliness and depression for individuals. One might begin to believe others have truly forgotten about them. In this song Beridox and Classmaticc touch on those emotions and feelings and reminds us that God’s Love is there for us, and to make sure we all apply energy and effort to love one another and be there one for another despite the challenges of life.
Lyrics
Chorus (Classmaticc)
I think I need an A.P.B.
Cause ain’t nobody checking for me
Don’t nobody come around
Don’t nobody hold me down
Me and you use to be cool
You forgot about me too, Ayye
I think I need an A.P.B.
Cause ain’t nobody checking for me
Nobody come around
Nobody hold me down
Yeah, it’s clear to see
They forgot about me
Verse 1 (B.E.R.I.D.O.X.)
Sometimes we feel all alone
In our zone, home alone
Full blown imaginations
No one cares, I’m all alone
Lonely thoughts
Empty hearts, no one’s out to love
No one loves me
Is sometimes what we be thinking of
Characteristics fits the ballistics
Statistics say love is slim
You might miss it
So stay cool my friend
It might come around again
We cool today, tomorrow
Maybe not, yo, we really not
The plot thickens
When we start to notice it’s missing
No calls, no texts
No invites, no sweat
We say, hey
Did they really do me that way
Built me up, just to let me down
No public display
Of love, no respect
Should I go and double check
Are we good,
See we were all cool
When it was understood
I respect you
You respect me
We are fam,
Nuff respect do, we be the crew
We go hand and hand
Chorus (Classmaticc)
I think I need an A.P.B.
Cause ain’t nobody checking for me
Don’t nobody come around
Don’t nobody hold me down
Me and you use to be cool
You forgot about me too, Ayye
I think I need an A.P.B.
Cause ain’t nobody checking for me
Nobody come around
Nobody hold me down
Yeah, it’s clear to see
They forgot about me
Said they forgot about me
Me
Ayye
Verse 2 (B.E.R.I.D.O.X.)
Feelings of the flesh
Tells me to love less
When I quest for genuine love
That’s birthed as a gift set
The real threat
Is separation from the obligation
To walk like Christ
Be like Christ, love like Christ
The life that’s given is short
In comparison
To God’s existence of time
We need to grind like Him
Frankly, we need to, Thank He
Who bless us steadily
Our mindset, should be heavenly
We should put into practice love
Have it on repeat
God’s Love
The kind that forgives before apologies
So if that was me
Yo I apologize
Please forgive me
Let’s start to build
Once again and take a ride
Chorus (Classmaticc)
I think I need an A.P.B.
Cause ain’t nobody checking for me
Don’t nobody come around
Don’t nobody hold me down
Me and you use to be cool
You forgot about me too, Ayye
I think I need an A.P.B.
Cause ain’t nobody checking for me
Nobody come around
Nobody hold me down
Yeah, it’s clear to see
They forgot about me
Said they forgot about me
Ayye
Ayye
Ayye
